Here is my photo of the week. I tried several different shots trying to make this single piece of popcorn look interesting. I chose this image to post because the popcorn is in focus and the background is slightly blurred giving it a cool overall look. I had my camera set on Vivid colour rather than on normal which gives more contrast in shades.

Have you tried the macro setting? This might get the effect you want to an even greater degree.
